Worship.

Believer or non-believer, we are all worshipers. What we choose to worship is a direct reflection of what we believe. It goes beyond our designated weekly services. It is more than that thing we do when we are gathered with believers in a building. Worship is more than a song. It’s more than regurgitating words off of a screen. Worship is a lifestyle. It is shown in the way we love, speak, and respond to others. It’s what we do with the gentle correction and guidance of the Holy Spirit. How and what we worship shapes and determines who we become. One of my favorite quotes is from author and speaker Louie Giglio. He says, “Worship is our response to God (both personal and corporate) for who He is and what He has done, expressed in our thoughts, attitudes, words, and actions.”

Worship through music is an obvious passion for any Christian musician and many believers. My heart as a lead worshiper is to take those that surround me into an intimate experience of the presence of God, connecting music to the soul, and the soul to the inner courts, as we ask the Father to inhabit our humble pursuit of Him. I strive to continually write praise and worship that displays fervent excitement as well as an honest expression of my genuine dependency on my relationship with Jesus. May our private worship far exceed our public worship.

John 4:23 - Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.

    Scott,
I really enjoyed getting to know you in Costa Rica. The trip was great and we loved your music. The CD is too short, so get to recording more! I will be proying for your ministry and can’t wait to watch it grow.
